Upgrade van One UI voor Android Pie

One UI omvat nu Android Pie met geweldige nieuwe functies en een hele nieuwe uitstraling die is gebaseerd op feedback van gebruikers van Samsung en Google.
We raden u aan om een back-up te maken van belangrijke gegevens zodat u deze kunt beveiligen vóór het upgraden.
Bepaalde apps, zoals Calculator, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, Samsung Notes, Samsung Members en Samsung Pay, moeten afzonderlijk worden bijgewerkt nadat u het besturingssysteem hebt bijgewerkt.
Als u de functie Ontgrendelen op afstand wilt gebruiken in Zoek mijn mobiel op een Android Pie-apparaat, is het back-upproces voor het schermvergrendelingswachtwoord (of pincode/patroon) vereist. Zorg dus dat u het schermvergrendelingswachtwoord (of pincode/patroon) bij de hand hebt voordat u het updateproces start. Als u het schermvergrendelingswachtwoord (of pincode/patroon) bent vergeten, moet u het resetten voordat u het updateproces start.

Dit zijn de nieuwe functies.

One UI
- Inhoud, instellingen en andere informatie is opnieuw ingedeeld zodat u zich beter kunt concentreren op de uit te voeren taak.
- Interactieve elementen zijn verplaatst naar de onderkant van het scherm waar ze altijd binnen bereik zijn.
- Nieuwe ontwerpen en functies zoals Nachtstand zijn comfortabeler voor uw ogen.

Meldingen
- In het meldingenvenster kunt u berichten rechtstreeks beantwoorden.
- Miniaturen van afbeeldingen worden opgenomen in berichtmeldingen.
- In de meldingsinstellingen van de app tikt u één keer op de schakelaar om alle meldingen in een categorie in of uit te schakelen.

Samsung Toetsenbord
- Er zijn nieuwe Unicode 11.0 emoji's beschikbaar.
- Met het nieuwe aanpasbare thema verandert het uiterlijk van uw toetsenbord op basis van de kleuren van de omringende app.
- Het zwevende toetsenbord is beschikbaar in alle apps en heeft nieuwe afmetingen en instellingen voor de doorzichtigheid.
- U kunt een aangepaste vertraging instellen voor aanraken en vasthouden.

Apparaatonderhoud
- Prestatiestanden zijn gestroomlijnd en opgenomen in de energiespaarstanden.
- Het Edge-venster voor apparaatonderhoud wordt niet meer gebruikt.

Always On Display
- Nieuwe klokstijlen zijn toegevoegd, met inbegrip van de optie om een agenda weer te geven met uw planning.
- Oplaadinformatie is toegevoegd om u te laten weten hoe lang het duurt tot uw apparaat volledig is opgeladen.
- U kunt Always On Display weergeven wanneer het scherm uit is of u kunt instellen dat het 30 seconden lang wordt weergegeven wanneer u op het scherm tikt.

Instellingen
- Menu's zijn opnieuw ingedeeld zodat u de instellingen eenvoudiger kunt vinden.

Samsung DeX
- Blijf uw telefoon gebruiken terwijl DeX wordt weergegeven op een monitor of tv.
- Gebruik Samsung DeX met ondersteunde HDMI-adapters. U hebt geen DeX Station nodig.

Bixby
- Bixby is vernieuwd met een reeks verbeteringen en nieuwe functies.
- Veeg naar links in het Bixby-hoofdscherm om de nieuwste functies en ondersteunde apps te ontdekken.
- U kunt de Bixby-toets in Instellingen aanpassen om te bepalen wat er gebeurt als u één of twee keer drukt.

Telefoon
- U kunt nu uw oproephistorie sorteren op inkomende en uitgaande oproepen.
- Uw oproephistorie kan maximaal 2000 vermelding bevatten (voorheen 500).

Contacten
- Via het nieuwe lademenu kunt u contacten uit verschillende accounts eenvoudiger beheren.

Galerij
- De bewerkfuncties van Foto-editor Pro zijn toegevoegd aan Galerij, zodat u nu alle bewerkingen en correcties kunt aanbrengen zonder dat u de app hoeft te verlaten.

Mijn bestanden
- De nieuwe opslaganalysefunctie is toegevoegd zodat u de gebruikte opslag kunt controleren en ruimte kunt besparen.
- U kunt nu items weergeven of verbergen op het Startscherm van Mijn bestanden.

Samsung Health
- Uw dagelijkse aantal stappen wordt weergegeven in het meldingenvenster. Als u dit wilt verbergen, houdt u de melding ingedrukt en schakelt u Huidige stappen uit.

Overige verbeteringen en wijzigingen
- Schakel het scherm automatisch in wanneer u de telefoon opneemt met de functie Optillen om te activeren.
- Open Kids Home via het Quick panel.
- Oproepstickers worden niet meer gebruikt.
- HEIF-afbeeldingen worden nu ondersteund.

Samsung Experience 9.0 upgrade with Android Oreo

Samsung Experience 9.0 brings you Android Oreo, with exciting new features from Samsung and Google based on feedback from users like you.

We recommend that you back up your important data to keep it safe during the upgrade.
Some apps, including Samsung Pay, Samsung Internet, Samsung Notes, and Email, should be updated individually before you can update your OS.

Here’s what’s new.

Biometrics
To improve your security, features that use biometrics (face, fingerprints, and irises) are only available when you use a secure screen lock type (pattern, PIN, or password). When you switch to a non-secure screen lock type (Swipe or None), biometric authentication is suspended for unlocking and for verification in apps like Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass. If you're using biometrics now without a secure screen lock type, you'll be able to continue after the upgrade, but changing to a secure screen lock type is recommended.

Quick Panel
- Manage notifications for each app with notification categories (supported apps only).
- Icons will be shown at the bottom of the notification panel for notifications that aren't currently visible.

Home Screen
- Touch and hold an app to display shortcuts to common or recommended tasks within the app (supported apps only).
- Notification badges on app icons are linked with the notification panel. Clear a notification in one location, and it will also be cleared in the other location.

Samsung Keyboard
- The toolbar gives quick access to useful functions.
- The GIF keyboard lets you send GIFs.
- More high-contrast keyboards are available.

System Performance
- Background services are limited to improve performance and battery life.
- Currently running apps will always be shown in the notification panel.

Edge screen
- Improved font size, color, and other settings for better Edge panel visibility.
- Touch and hold the Edge panel handle to change its position.
- Added 3 more Edge lighting effects and color customization for apps.

Lock Screen and Always On Display
- New clock styles for the Lock screen and Always On Display.
- Adjust the transparency of notifications to get the look you want.

Smart View
- Let your phone's screen go dark when mirroring to another screen.

Samsung account
- Control your account settings and profile information for multiple apps.
- Tap your profile picture on the main Settings page to access your profile information and account settings.

Samsung Cloud
- View and manage photos and notes stored only in Samsung Cloud.
- Store any type of file in Samsung Cloud Drive.
- Select specific items to delete or restore from your backups.
- See how big each backup is and how many items it contains.

Samsung Dual Messenger
- Install a second copy of a messaging app so you can use two accounts at the same time. For apps that verify accounts using phone numbers, you'll need a different phone number for each account.
- Touch and hold a messaging app on the Home or Apps screen to install the second account or go to Settings - Advanced features - Dual Messenger.

Find My Mobile
- Back up Secure Folder to Samsung Cloud remotely when your phone is lost.
- Lock Samsung Pass using Find My Mobile.

Samsung DeX
- Use your phone as a touchpad to control Samsung DeX without a mouse.
- Added support for multiple resolutions (HD+/FHD/WQHD) to better fit your screen.

Other improvements
- Bluetooth now supports high-quality audio codecs, including AAC and Sony LDAC.
- Video player includes auto repeat and 2x speed option.
- Voice Recorder provides smart tips to conveniently block calls while recording.
- Email lets you flag Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync emails.
- Samsung Health's new sticky notification lets you see your step count at a glance.
- Clock now includes a Landscape mode and timer sound options.
- The digital clock widget goes directly to the Clock app when you tap it.
- Samsung Pass added the ability to manage usernames and passwords in third-party apps.
