Samsung introduceert met de Galaxy S21 5G en Galaxy S21+ 5G zijn nieuwste vlaggenschipmodellen. Dankzij de laatste smartphone-innovaties haal je op beide modellen het beste uit ieder moment. In de nieuwe S-serie gaan een iconisch design, superieure camera’s en de meest geavanceerde Galaxy-processor ooit hand in hand.

De Galaxy S21 5G is speciaal voor diegenen die een licht ontwerp met een compact 6,2 inch scherm willen. De Galaxy S21+ 5G heeft een 6,7 inch scherm en een grotere batterij, perfect voor marathongamers en bingewatchers.
De Galaxy S21 5G-serie introduceert een nieuwe iconische Contour Cut Camera-behuizing die opgaat in het metalen frame. De Galaxy S21 5G en S21+ 5G komen beschikbaar in tal van opvallende kleuren, waaronder Phantom Violet en Phantom Grey. Elk toestel is afgewerkt met een luxe, matte finish voor een verfijnde look en feel.
De Galaxy S21 5G heeft een intelligent, dynamisch AMOLED 2X Infinity-O 120Hz scherm, waarbij de framesnelheid zich automatisch aanpast aan de content die je bekijkt. Het scherm is ook vriendelijk voor je ogen dankzij de nieuwe functie Eye Comfort Shield. De blauwlichtfilter past zich automatisch aan op basis van het tijdstip.
Alledaagse momenten worden episch
De Galaxy S21 5G bouwt voort op Samsungs legendarische camera-erfgoed met innovaties die ervoor zorgen dat je, ongeacht je niveau, altijd het beste shot en de mooiste video maakt. Je hoeft alleen maar te richten en de camera doet het werk.
Deze camerafuncties springen eruit:
- 8K Video Snap: Selecteer kristalheldere beelden uit je 8K-video-opnamen, in hoge resolutie (33 MP). Zo leg je alle live-actie vast en maak je daarnaast superscherpe foto’s.
- Super Steady: Hoe snel je ook gaat en hoe zeer je misschien ook schokt, dankzij deze functie zijn je opnames altijd vloeiend en strak. Bovendien: automatische optimalisatie tussen 30fps en 60fps met FHD-resolutie.
- Director View: Zet de camera’s aan de voor- en achterkant tegelijkertijd aan om alles vast te leggen en/of switch tussen de verschillende lenzen.
- Live Thumbnails: Voor een preview, om de hoek te wijzigen, of om in of uit te zoomen.
- Multiple mic recording: In combinatie met de Galaxy Buds Pro[2] leg je tijdens de opnames omgevingsgeluiden en je stem vast. Zet de Galaxy S21 5G in Pro Video Mode op een driepoot en gebruik de Galaxy Buds Pro om je stem en andere geluiden op te nemen.
- Single Take[3]: Dankzij AI leg je tot 14 stilstaande en bewegende beelden met één klik vast. Met Highlight Video en Dynamic Slow-Mo zet je de hoogtepunten extra in de spotlights.
De professionele en met AI uitgeruste camera van de Galaxy S21 5G en S21+ 5G heeft drie lenzen. Zonder dat je er zelf iets voor hoeft te doen, regelt het geavanceerde camerasysteem dat je altijd het beste shot maakt. Portrait Mode zorgt ervoor dat het onderwerp loskomt van de achtergrond, ook biedt het opties voor virtuele studioverlichting en achtergrondeffecten. Deze functie werkt precies zo met selfies. Met Space Zoom maak je óók op grote afstand heldere en stabiele beelden, terwijl Zoom Lock de invloed van trillende handen onderdrukt en met 30x zoom blijft je doel centraal in beeld. Dankzij verbeterde processing kracht maak je bovendien zelfs als het donker is heldere beelden, wat ideaal is voor zonsondergangen.
Connectiviteit en prestaties
De Galaxy S21 5G en S21+ 5G verbinden naadloos met het Galaxy-ecosysteem en zijn voorzien van de nieuwste en meest geavanceerde smartphone-chipset in een Galaxy ooit. Dat zorgt voor een hogere snelheid, energie-efficiëntie en een betere ondersteuning van 5G en AI op het toestel[4]. Aan boord van je smartphone bevindt zich alles wat je nodig hebt om foto’s te verwerken, 8K-video’s op te nemen en ongestoord te gamen.
Het beschermen van gevoelige informatie is belangrijker dan ooit. De Galaxy S21 5G-serie is beveiligd met Knox Vault, Samsungs eigen beveiligingsplatform op chipsetniveau (SoC). Met de toevoeging van fraudebestendig beveiligd geheugen aan de beveiligde processor, maakt Knox Vault de Galaxy S21 5G tot een soort Fort Knox – niemand komt erin zonder dat jij dat wilt.
De Galaxy S21 5G introduceert ook een nieuwe tool om je privacy te beschermen. Zo kun je de locatie metagegevens van je foto’s verwijderen voordat je ze deelt. Met de functie Private Share[5] bepaal jij wie toegang krijgt tot de content die je verzendt, en hoe lang die beschikbaar blijft.
De Galaxy S21 5G is ontworpen om samen met andere Galaxy-apparaten te gebruiken en met SmartThings Find vind je je andere geschikte apparaten makkelijk terug, ook als ze offline zijn. Met Samsungs Galaxy SmartTag[6] kun je zelfs spullen terugvinden die niet verbonden zijn. Bevestig simpelweg een SmartTag aan je sleutels, tas of zelfs de halsband van je huisdier en met SmartThings Find heb je ze binnen no-time gelokaliseerd.
Lokale beschikbaarheid en verkoopadviesprijzen
De Galaxy S21 5G en S21+ 5G zijn vanaf 29 januari verkrijgbaar voor een verkoopadviesprijs van € 849,- voor de Galaxy S21 5G met 128 GB geheugen en € 899,- voor de Galaxy S21 5G met 256 GB geheugen. De Galaxy S21 5G komt beschikbaar in de kleuren Phantom Violet, Phantom Grey, Phantom Pink en Phantom White. De Galaxy S21+ 5G met 128 GB geheugen kost € 1.049,- en de Galaxy S21+ 5G met 256 GB kost € 1.099,-. De Galaxy S21+ 5G komt beschikbaar in de kleuren Phantom Violet, Phantom Silver en Phantom Black. Daarnaast zijn de kleuren Phantom Red en Phantom Gold exclusief verkrijgbaar via de Samsung e-store.
