As a leading innovator of mobile experiences, we take responsibility for using technology as a force for good and ensuring that the Galaxy ecosystem helps preserve our planet for future generations. Last August, we expanded our efforts with Galaxy for the Planet – our sustainability vision for Mobile. It outlines four environmental goals that we aim to achieve throughout our operations.
We commit to: Incorporating recycled materials in all mobile products, eliminating plastics in packaging, achieving zero standby power consumption for our smartphone chargers, and diverting all waste generated by our manufacturing facilities away from landfills. Our goal is to achieve all these objectives by 2025.
