Renowned webcomic creator Taejun Pak, whose Webtoon series called LOOKISM was one of the first Korean webcomics to be adapted into a Netflix animated series, helped to kickstart the popularity of this content around the world. That is why Samsung teamed up with him during last month’s Galaxy Unpacked in Seoul to demonstrate all the tools and creative power the Galaxy Tab S9 series has to offer.
A Canvas to Turn Inspiration into Creation

To showcase the possibilities of the Galaxy Tab S9, Taejun Pak put S Pen to screen to develop a set of webtoon-style illustrations, highlighting different features and functions. The illustrations bring into animated focus the new tablet’s benefits, including the IP68-rating3 for water and dust resistance and the innovative Vision Booster technology that keeps the display vivid and clear even in bright lighting conditions.

The Ultimate Creativity Tool in Action
At last month’s Galaxy Unpacked, Taejun held two master classes on how to use the Galaxy Tab S9’s powerful line-up of creative features to create a comic versions of attendees’ own selfies.
Participants of the master class received a tutorial on how to use the brand-new S Pen Creator Edition and the Clip Studio Paint app4, which features a simplified UI optimised for the Galaxy Tab S9. With a step-by-step lesson in turning a selfie into a webcomic character, the class offered a first-hand look into how the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra can make all the difference in bringing creative visions to life.
