Quick panel

New button layout
The quick panel has a new layout that makes it easier to access the features you use most. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth now have their own dedicated buttons at the top of the screen, while visual features, like Dark mode and Eye comfort shield have been moved to the bottom. Other quick settings buttons appear in a customizable area in the middle.

Instantly access the full quick panel
By default, a compact quick panel with notifications appears when you swipe down from the top of the screen. Swiping down again hides notifications and shows the expanded quick panel. If you turn on Quick settings instant access, you can view the expanded quick panel by swiping just once from the right side of the top of the screen. Swiping down from the left side shows notifications.

Quickly access brightness control
The brightness control bar now appears by default in the compact quick panel when you swipe down once from the top of the screen for quicker and easier brightness adjustments.

Improved album art display
While playing music or videos, album art will cover the entire media controller in the notification panel if the app playing the music or video provides album art.

Enhanced layout for notifications
Each notification now appears as a separate card, making it easier to recognize individual notifications.

More vivid notification icons
You can use the same full-color icons that are used for each app on the Home and Apps screens. You can turn this on in Settings.

Sort notifications by time
You can now change your notification settings to sort by time instead of priority so your newest notifications are always on top.

Reposition your clock
You now have more freedom to move your clock to the position of your choice on the Lock screen.

Simplified icon labels
App icon labels are now limited to a single line for a cleaner and simpler look. "Galaxy" and "Samsung" have been removed from some app names to make them shorter and easier to scan.



Multitasking

Keep pop-up windows open
Instead of minimizing pop-up windows when you go to the Recents screen, pop-ups will now remain open after you leave the Recents screen so you can continue what you were working on.



Samsung Keyboard

New emoji design
Emojis that appear in your messages, social media posts, and elsewhere on your phone have been updated with a fresh new design.



Content sharing

Picture previews
When you share pictures from any app, preview images will appear at the top of the Share panel to give you one more chance to review the pictures before sharing them.



Weather

New Weather widget
The Weather insights widget provides more information about your local weather conditions. You can see when severe thunderstorms, snow, rain, and other events are on the forecast.

More information in Weather app
Information about snowfall, moon phases and times, atmospheric pressure, visibility distance, dew point, and wind direction is now available in the Weather app.

Interactive map view
Swipe to move around the map and tap a location to view the local weather conditions. The map can help you find weather information even if you don’t know the name of the city.

Enhanced illustrations
Illustrations in the Weather widget and app have been enhanced to provide better information about the current weather conditions. Background colors also change depending on the time of the day.



Camera

Simple and intuitive design
The overall layout of the Camera app has been simplified. Quick settings buttons on the preview screen have been redesigned to be easier to understand.

Custom camera widgets
You can add custom camera widgets to your Home screen. You can set each widget to start in a specific shooting mode and save pictures in an album of your choice.

More alignment options for watermarks
You can now choose whether your watermark appears at the top or bottom of your photos.

Scan documents easily
The Scan document feature has been separated from Scene optimizer so you can scan documents even if Scene optimizer is turned off. The new Auto scan lets you scan documents automatically whenever you take a picture of a document. After a document is scanned, you’ll be taken to the edit screen where you can rotate your document to align it the way you want.

Quick access to resolution settings
A resolution button is now available in the quick settings at the top of the screen in Photo and Pro modes so you can quickly change the resolution of photos you take.

Easier video size options
A pop-up now appears when you tap the video size button, making it easier to see all the options and choose the right ones.

Keep your pictures level
When grid lines are turned on in Camera settings, a level line will now appear in the middle of the screen while using the rear camera in all modes except Panorama. The line will move to show whether your picture is level with the ground.

Quality optimization
You can choose between 3 levels of quality optimization for the pictures you take. Choose Maximum to get the highest quality pictures. Choose Minimum to take pictures as quickly as possible. You can also choose Medium to get the best balance of speed and quality.

Turn off swipe up/down to switch cameras
Swiping up or down to switch between the front and rear cameras is now optional. If you’re concerned about accidental swipes, you can turn this off in Settings.

Apply effects more easily
Filter and face effects now use a dial instead of a slider making it easier to make precise adjustments with just one hand.



Gallery

Quick edits in detail view
While viewing a picture or video, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to go to detail view. This screen now provides quick access to effects and editing features you can immediately apply.

Drag and drop with 2 hands
Touch and hold pictures and videos with one hand, then use your other hand to navigate to the album where you want to drop them.

Save clipped images as stickers
When you clip something from an image, you can easily save it as a sticker that you can use later when editing pictures or videos.

Enhanced story view
While viewing a story, a thumbnail view appears when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen. In thumbnail view, you can add or remove pictures and videos from your story.



Photo Editor

Enhanced layout
The new Tools menu makes it easier to find the editing features you need. Straighten and Perspective options have been combined in the Transform menu.

Adjust decorations after saving
You can now make changes to drawings, stickers, and text that you've added to a photo even after saving.

Undo and redo
Don't worry about making mistakes. You can now easily undo or redo transformations, filters, and tones.

Draw on custom stickers
When creating custom stickers, you can now use the drawing tools to make your stickers even more personal and unique.

New text backgrounds and styles
When adding text to a photo, you can choose from several new backgrounds and styles to help you get the perfect look.



Studio (Video Editor)

More powerful video editing
Studio is a new project-based video editor, allowing for more complex and powerful editing. You can access Studio from the Drawer menu in Gallery or add an icon to your Home screen for quicker access.

Timeline layout
Studio lets you view your entire project as a timeline containing multiple video clips. The multi-layered structure lets you add clips, stickers, subtitles, and other objects and adjust their position and length easily.

Save and edit projects
You can also save unfinished movie projects to continue editing them later.



Video Player

Enhanced layout
Video player controls are now easier than ever. Buttons with similar functions have been grouped together, and the Play button has been moved to the center of the screen.

Enhanced playback speed controls
Choose between several video playback speeds between 0.25x and 2.0x. Speed controls are now easier to access with dedicated buttons instead of a slider.



Samsung Health

New look for the Home screen
The Samsung Health Home screen has been completely revamped. More information is shown, while bold fonts and colors make it easier to see the information you need most. Your latest exercise result is shown at the top of the screen, and more feedback is provided about your sleep score as well as your daily goals for steps, activity, water, and food.

Custom water cup sizes
You can now customize the size of cups in the Samsung Health Water tracker to match the size of the cup you usually drink from.



Calendar

Your schedule at a glance
The new schedule view provides your upcoming events, tasks, and reminders all together in chronological order.

View your reminders in Calendar
You can now view and add reminders in the Calendar app without opening the Reminder app.

Move events with 2 hands
In Day or Week view, touch and hold the event you want to move with one hand, then use your other hand to navigate to the day where you want to move it.



Reminder

Refined reminder list view
The main list view has been redesigned. You can manage categories at the top of the screen. Below the categories, your reminders will be shown organized by date. The layout for reminders containing images and web links has also been enhanced.

New reminder categories
The Place category contains reminders that alert you when you're in a specific place, and the No alert category contains reminders that don't provide any alerts.

More options for creating reminders
When sharing content to the Reminder app, you'll get full editing options before your reminder is created. You can also take pictures using the camera when creating a reminder.

Create all-day reminders
You can now create reminders for an entire day and customize the time you want to be alerted about them.



Samsung Internet

Play videos in the background
Keep playing video sound even if you leave the current tab or leave the Internet app.

Move bookmarks and tabs with 2 hands
Touch and hold the bookmark or tab you want to move with one hand, then use your other hand to navigate to the bookmark folder or tab group where you want to move it.



Smart select

Resize and extract text from pinned content
When you pin an image to the screen, you can now resize it or extract text from it.

Magnified view
When selecting an area of the screen, a magnified view will appear so you can start and end your selection at the perfect spot.

Switch to Bixby during a call
You can switch to Bixby text call at any time, even if the call is already in progress.



Modes and Routines

Change the appearance of your Lock screen
Set up different Lock screens with their own wallpaper and clock style for when you're driving, working, exercising, and more. Try a dark wallpaper for Sleep mode or a calming wallpaper for Relax mode. When you edit the Lock screen for a mode, you’ll see that wallpaper whenever that mode is turned on.

New conditions
You can now start a routine when an app is playing media.

Your routines can now do more than ever before, such as changing your Samsung Keyboard settings.



Smart suggestions

New look and feel
The Smart suggestions widget has been redesigned with a layout that better aligns with other icons on your Home screen.

More customization
You can now adjust transparency and choose between a white or black background. You can also set apps to exclude from suggestions.



Finder

Quick actions for apps
When an app appears in your search results, you can touch and hold the app to get quick access to actions you can perform using the app. For example, if you search for the Calendar app, buttons for adding an event or searching your calendar will appear. App actions will also appear in search results on their own if you search for the name of the action instead of the app.



My Files

Free up storage space
Recommendation cards will appear to help you free up storage space. My Files will recommend deleting unnecessary files, give you tips for setting up cloud storage, and also let you know which apps on your phone are using the most storage space.

Integrated Trash with Gallery and Voice Recorder
My Files, Gallery, and Voice Recorder Trash features have been combined into one. When you open the Trash in My Files, you’ll be able to see files, pictures, videos, and voice recordings you’ve deleted all together, along with options for restoring or permanently deleting.



Samsung Pass

Safer sign-ins with passkeys
Use passkeys to sign in to supported apps and websites. Unlike passwords, your passkey is only stored on your phone and can't be leaked through a website security breach. Passkeys also protect you from phishing attacks because they only work on the website or app where they were registered.



Settings

Smarter Airplane mode
If you turn on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while Airplane mode is on, your phone will remember. The next time you use Airplane mode, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth will remain on instead of turning off.

Easier access to battery settings
Battery settings now have their own top-level settings menu so you can easily check your battery usage and manage battery settings.

Block security threats
Get an extra level of protection for your apps and data. Auto Blocker prevents unknown apps from being installed, checks for malware, and blocks malicious commands from being sent to your phone using a USB cable



Accessibility

Vision enhancements easier to find
The Spoken assistance and Visibility enhancements menus have been combined into one Vision enhancements menu for quicker, simpler access.

New magnification options
Customize how your magnification window appears. You can choose full screen, partial screen, or allow switching between the two.

Customize cursor thickness
You can now increase the thickness of the cursor that appears while editing text so that it's easier to see.

Better app previews on the Recents screen
The Recents screen now shows apps as they will appear after you open them. You can easily see if an app is opened in split screen, full screen, or as a pop-up.

Easily switch from pop-up view to split screen
Press and hold the handle at the top of the pop-up window, then drag the app to the side of the screen where you want it to be shown.

Restore pop-ups snapped to the edge of the screen
Drag an app in pop-up view to the edge of the screen to snap it to the edge and keep it out of the way. When you need it again, tap anywhere on the pop-up to bring it back to its previous location.



Flex mode

Use the Flex mode panel with more apps
More apps can now be used with the Flex mode panel. When the Flex mode panel is turned on, just fold your phone upright and tap the button that appears on the navigation bar.

Improved media controls
Buttons for skipping forward and backward 10 seconds are now available on the Flex mode panel. When you touch the time bar, the time you'll move to will be shown to help you find the right moment.

Customize the toolbar
Create your own personal layout to quickly access features like split screen view, screen capture, and more. Touch and hold an icon on the Flex mode panel toolbar to reorder the icons or move icons into or out of the toolbar.

You can now send files to your contacts anytime, even if they're not near you.

Share files privately
Protect private content when you share it. You can set expiration dates for the files you send, cancel sharing at any time, and prevent recipients from saving or resharing.

Check severe weather alerts, daily weather summaries, and sunrise/sunset times at the top of the Weather app. The temperature graph now uses colors to show how the temperature changes throughout the day.

An hourly graph now shows how much precipitation has fallen at different times of the day.

Summary on Weather widget
A brief summary of the current weather conditions now appears on the weather widget to let you know if it's sunny, cloudy, raining, or snowing.

Continue browsing on another device
If you're browsing the web on one Galaxy phone or tablet and later open the Internet app on another Galaxy device signed in to the same Samsung account, a button will appear that lets you open the last webpage you were viewing on the other device.

Improved search
Your searches now include the names of bookmark folders and tab groups. Improved search logic lets you find what you're looking for even if something isn't spelled correctly.



Additional changes

Let Bixby take your calls
Use Bixby text call to answer calls automatically and find out why the person is calling. You'll see what the caller says in a text chat, and you can tap or type responses that will be read aloud to the caller. Bixby text call is only available in English and Korean.

Check the battery level of your devices
The new Battery widget lets you check the battery level of your devices, right from the Home screen. You can see how much battery is left on your phone, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch, and other supported devices.

Use up to 3 emojis in AR Emoji Camera
Take fun pictures and videos with your friends in Mask mode. You can assign a different emoji to each person’s face.

Settings suggestions
While signed in to your Samsung account, suggestions will appear at the top of the Settings screen to help you share, connect, and enhance your experience across your Galaxy devices.

Spotify suggestions

Choose modes based on your activity
Choose a mode based on what you're doing, such as exercising, working, or relaxing, then choose what you want your phone to do in each situation. For example, turn on Do not disturb when you're relaxing or play music when you're driving.

Bedtime mode is now Sleep mode
Sleep mode lets you automate more actions when it's time for bed, like turning on Dark mode and changing the sound mode.

Easier to discover preset routines
A simplified layout makes it easier to find routines that are useful for you.

Check running routines quickly
Routines that are currently running are now shown at the top of the Routines screen so you can understand what's happening and make changes if necessary.

Automatically start routines when you use Airplane mode or Mobile Hotspot. Routines can now open app pairs and adjust the left/right sound balance.



Home screen widgets

Stack widgets on your Home screen
Combine several widgets of the same size into a single widget to save space on your Home screen. Just drag a widget onto another widget to create a stack, then swipe to switch between widgets. You can add more widgets to your stack at any time by dragging and dropping.

Get suggestions on your Home screen
The new Smart suggestions widget knows what you need before you do. It suggests apps to use, people to call, and other useful tips. Suggestions are based on your usage patterns.



Multitasking

Switch your view with a gesture
Switch from full screen to split screen view by swiping upward with two fingers from the bottom of the screen. Switch from full screen to pop-up view by swiping inward with one finger from either corner at the top of the screen. Gestures can be turned on or off in Settings Labs.

Quickly open apps in split screen
Just drag an app from the Recents screen to the side of the screen where you want to open it.



Connected devices

Do more with your connected devices
The Connected devices menu has been added to Settings, making it quicker and easier to access features that work with other devices, like Quick Share, Smart View, and Samsung DeX.

Hide notifications on your TV
When viewing content from your phone on your TV with Smart View, you can choose to hide notifications on your TV to prevent others from seeing your personal information.

Play sound from your phone on any Chromecast device
Available Chromecast devices will appear when you tap Media output in the quick panel on your phone. Just tap the device where you want to play music or other audio content.



Camera and Gallery

Zoom more easily with one hand
The zoom bar has been condensed so you can zoom in or out farther with a single swipe.

Get help with Pro mode
A help icon will appear in Pro and Pro video modes. Tap the icon to get tips and guidance for using the various lenses, options, and controls.

Histogram in Pro mode
Use the histogram to check the brightness of each tone to help you get the perfect exposure.

Add watermarks to your pictures
Automatically add a watermark to each picture containing the date and time a picture was taken, your phone's model name, or other custom information.

Telephoto lens is now supported in Food mode
Take better close-up shots of food using the telephoto lens.

Revamped Single take
Single take mode has been simplified and streamlined. Fewer options and shorter recording times make it faster and easier to get great shots.

Choose filters more easily
The filter selection menu has been streamlined in Camera, Photo Editor, and Video Editor. All filters are available in one list, making it easier to find the perfect filter for your picture or video.

Customize albums in Gallery
Choose which albums appear by default and hide less frequently used albums to keep the clutter down. You can also merge albums that have the same name and create albums that automatically update to include pictures of people you select.

All-new look for Stories
Stories that are automatically created in your Gallery have been revamped with an interactive slideshow view. Just tap or swipe to move between pictures and videos in your story.



Photo and Video Editor

Create stickers from any picture
Create reusable stickers from any picture in your gallery. Just select the part of the picture you want to use as a sticker, then adjust the thickness and color of the outlines.

More ways to edit GIFs
You can trim and adjust the ratio of animated GIFs to make them the right size. You can also use the same editing features that are available for still images to decorate your GIF however you like.

Keep portrait mode effects even after editing
Portrait mode effects are now retained even after cropping or changing filters so you can adjust the background blur at any time.

Draw perfect shapes on pictures and videos
Use the pen tool to draw a shape such as a circle, triangle, rectangle, or heart. Hold your finger on the screen when you finish drawing to make it instantly transform to straight lines and perfect angles.

New stickers for photos and videos
60 new preloaded emoji stickers are available for decorating your pictures and videos.



AR Emoji and stickers

New AR Emoji stickers
When you create a new AR Emoji, 15 stickers are created by default giving you more ways to express yourself. If that’s not enough, there are also more AR Emoji stickers available for download so you can always find a sticker to match your emotions.

Do more with AR Emojis
Use transparent backgrounds for AR Emoji stickers, or choose any picture from your Gallery to use as a background for your emoji in AR Emoji Camera. You can also pair up two emojis together and create fun dances and poses.



Samsung Keyboard

New emojis available for emoji pairs
In Samsung Keyboard, more than 80 additional emojis are available for creating an emoji pair. You can now combine emojis based on animals, food, and other objects in addition to facial expressions. Choose the perfect combination to get your feelings across.

Extract and scan text

Extract text from any image or screen
Extract text using Samsung Keyboard, Internet, Gallery, or whenever you take a screenshot. Paste the result into a message, email, or document instead of typing.

Get suggestions based on text in images
When text appears in an image in Gallery, Camera, or other apps, actions will be recommended based on the text. For example, if you take a picture of a sign with a phone number or web address on it, you can tap to call the number or visit the site.
Text extraction and suggestion features are only supported for English, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese.



Samsung DeX

Enhanced taskbar in Samsung DeX
A search button has been added to make it easier to find apps you want to use, and you can right-click certain apps to quickly access tasks within the app. You can also customize which buttons you want to appear on your taskbar.

New notification indicator in DeX
A red dot will appear on the notification button in your taskbar if any new notifications have been received since the last time you opened the notification panel.

Clicking the date in your taskbar now opens a mini calendar, allowing you to quickly check your schedule without opening the full Calendar app.



Notifications

Get only the notifications you allow
When you use an app for the first time, you’ll be asked whether you want to receive notifications from it. Feel free to say no to apps that you don’t want to disturb you.

Easier access to app notification controls
Is an app sending you too many notifications? It's easier than ever to block it with reorganized notification settings placing app notification controls at the top. You can also go directly to app notification settings using the button at the bottom of the notification panel.

Choose which types of notifications apps can send
You now have separate control over whether apps can show pop-up notifications, app icon badges, and notifications on the Lock screen. Allow all types, some, or none. It's up to you.

New layout for notifications
App icons are larger, making it easier to see which app sent the notification. Text alignment has also been improved to make notifications easier to read.

Set a language for each app
Want to use some apps in one language and other apps in another? You can now choose which language will be used for each app in Settings.

Set exceptions for Do not disturb
You can now set individual contacts as exceptions to Do not disturb. Your phone will ring or vibrate when the people you choose call and send messages to you, even when Do not disturb is on. It’s also easier to set apps as exceptions so you get notification alerts from them even when Do not disturb is on. Just choose the apps you want to allow from the new grid.

Improved sound and vibration settings
Menus have been reorganized to make it easier to find the sound and vibration options you need. Set your ringtone and change the volume and vibration settings, all in the same place.

More options for RAM Plus
RAM Plus can now be turned off completely in Device care if you don’t need it or don’t want it to use any storage space.

Auto optimization
Device care keeps your phone running smoothly by automatically performing optimizations in the background. To keep your phone in the best condition, you can set your phone to automatically restart when needed.



Security and privacy

Check your phone’s security status at a glance
The new Security dashboard in Settings shows whether your phone has any security issues and helps you fix them quickly.

Prevent accidental sharing of personal information
The share panel will let you know when you attempt to share photos that contain sensitive information, such as credit cards, ID cards, or passports, so you can reconsider whether you really want to share them.

Security and privacy information for websites
An icon will appear in the address bar in Samsung Internet to show a site's security status. Tap the icon to learn which information the website collects and tracks.

Maintenance mode
Protect your privacy when someone else is using your phone, such as when you send it in for repairs. Maintenance mode prevents your pictures, messages, accounts, and other personal data from being accessed.

More accessibility options in the quick panel
High contrast font, Color inversion, Color adjustment, and Color filter can be added to the quick panel for easier access.

Magnifier is easier to access
Turn on the Magnifier shortcut in Accessibility settings to get quick access to the Magnifier feature. Magnifier uses your phone's camera to enlarge items in the real world so you can take a closer look or make them easier to read.

More spoken assistance
Choose from various types of voice feedback to get help using your phone even if you can't see the screen clearly. You can make your phone read out keyboard input so you can be sure you typed the correct letter, use Bixby Vision to recognize nearby objects and tell you what they are, and turn on audio descriptions that explain what's happening in a video (only for supported videos).

Easily edit your Accessibility button
Tap and hold the Accessibility button to quickly change the features you can access using the button.

New actions available for Corner actions
If you're using a mouse or trackpad, new actions are available when you move the mouse pointer to one of the 4 corners of the screen. You can now click and hold, drag, or drag and drop.

Use several timers at once
You can now start a new timer in the Clock app even if another timer is still running.

More control over calendar event invitees
When you add an event to your Google calendar in the Samsung Calendar app, you can choose whether invitees are allowed to see who else is invited to the event and also choose whether they can invite other people.

Add video conferences to your events
When you create a Google calendar event in the Samsung Calendar app, you can set up a video conference at the same time. Everyone invited to your event will receive the link to the video conference.

Add stickers to your Google calendar
Add stickers to Google calendar events in the Samsung Calendar app to make them easy to see at a glance. Stickers are shown in both calendar and agenda views.

Stay on top of reminders due today
The new Today category shows only reminders due today. You can also check reminders due today at the top of the main screen in the Reminder app.

Krachtiger zoeken in Mijn bestanden
Kies of u alle bestanden wilt doorzoeken of enkel bestanden in de huidige map. Kleurenpalet
Pas uw telefoon aan met unieke kleuren op basis van uw achtergrond. Uw aangepaste kleurenpalet is nu zichtbaar in meer apps, inclusief apps van Google.
Slimme suggesties
Uw Galaxy is nu een stuk slimmer geworden. Als u begint met het toevoegen van een gebeurtenis aan uw kalender, zal uw apparaat een titel en tijd suggereren op basis van tekstberichten en andere activiteit op uw telefoon. U krijgt vergelijkbare suggesties in Agenda, Reminder, Toetsenbord, Berichten en andere apps.
Schaduwen en reflecties corrigeren in Foto-editor
Schaduwen en reflecties worden automatisch verwijderd als u de Gum voor object gebruikt.
Voeg emoji’s toe aan uw agenda
Naast stickers kunt u nu emoji’s toevoegen aan een datum in uw agenda om op die manier uw gevoelens uit te drukken.
Maak snel een notitie terwijl u aan het browsen bent
Zorg dat u altijd weet wat uw bronnen zijn met nieuwe knipopties voor Samsung Notes. U kunt inhoud van Samsung Internet of Galerij toevoegen als u een notitie maakt met het quick panel of het Taak-edge-venster.
Kies apps voor tekstcorrectie in Samsung Toetsenbord
Kies in welke apps u automatisch tekstcorrecties wilt krijgen. Schakel dit in voor apps waarin u schrijft om te zorgen dat uw spelling en grammatica kloppen en schakel het uit voor berichtenapps waarin u minder formeel wilt zijn.
Meer beschikbare toetsenbordopties
Toetsenbordlay-outs, invoermethodes en functies voor specifieke talen zijn nu beschikbaar in meer regio’s, zodat u eenvoudig kunt typen, waar u ook bent. U kunt in de instellingen altijd terugschakelen naar uw vorige lay-out.
Pas uw geluidsbalans aan
In de instellingen voor Toegankelijkheid kunt u de links/rechts geluidsbalans aanpassen voor verbonden apparaten, zoals luidsprekers en hoofdtelefoons, afzonderlijk van de geluidsbalans voor de luidsprekers van uw telefoon. Dit biedt u de mogelijkheid om de perfecte balans uit uw hoofdtelefoon te halen zonder dat het invloed heeft op het geluid van uw beltoon en luidsprekers.

Service voor optimaliseren van games
De CPU/GPU-prestaties tijdens de beginfase van het spelen van games worden niet gelimiteerd. (Een prestatiebeheerfunctie wordt ingeschakeld op basis van de apparaattemperatuur.) De modus “Ander beheersysteem voor gameprestaties” wordt aangeboden in Game Booster. Apps van derden wordt toegestaan om de Service Voor Optimaliseren Van Games te omzeilen.

Toestemmingsinformatie in één oogopslag
Zie wanneer elke app toegang krijgt tot gevoelige machtigingen zoals Locatie, Camera of Microfoon in Toestemmingsgebruik. Je kunt toestemmingen weigeren voor apps waar je je niet prettig bij voelt.

Camera- en microfoonindicatoren
Houd nieuwsgierige ogen en oren uit de buurt. Er verschijnt een groene stip in de rechterbovenhoek van het scherm wanneer een app de camera of microfoon gebruikt. Je kunt ook quick panel controls gebruiken om alle apps tijdelijk te blokkeren voor het gebruik van de camera of microfoon.

Locatie bij benadering
Houd uw exacte locatie privé. U kunt instellen dat apps die niet precies hoeven te weten waar u bent, alleen toegang krijgen tot uw algemene gebied.

Klembordbeveiliging
Houd je wachtwoorden, creditcardnummers en andere gevoelige informatie veilig. Je kunt ervoor kiezen een waarschuwing te ontvangen telkens wanneer een app toegang krijgt tot inhoud die in een andere app naar het klembord is gekopieerd.

Camera

Gebruik een eenvoudigere lay-out terwijl je foto's en video's maakt. Je ziet de knop voor het optimaliseren van scènes alleen in de Foto-modus als er weinig licht is of als je een document aan het scannen bent. De instellingen voor portret- en nachtmodus zijn nu weggestopt en intuïtiever.

Lens en zoom
Lenspictogrammen laten het vergrotingsniveau zien, zodat je weet hoeveel je hebt ingezoomd.

Video die geen moment mist
De opname begint onmiddellijk nadat je op de opnameknop hebt getikt, in plaats van wanneer je hem loslaat, zodat je die speciale momenten vastlegt voordat ze weer weg zijn. In de Foto-modus kun je de sluiterknop aanraken en ingedrukt houden om een snelle video-opname te starten. Vervolgens sleep je je vinger naar het vergrendelingspictogram om door te gaan met opnemen zonder de sluitertoets ingedrukt te hoeven houden.

Zorg dat je single takes doorgaan
Voeg 5 seconden extra tijd toe aan single take-opnames zodat je geen moment mist, zelfs niet als het uitloopt. Het is ook makkelijker om te selecteren wat je wilt vastleggen.

Professionele fotografie
Houd de regie met de vernieuwde instellingen voor de Pro- en Professionele video-modus. Door de strakkere stijl kun je je beter concentreren op de opname, en dankzij de nieuwe niveau-indicatoren die aan de hulplijnen zijn toegevoegd, blijven je opnamen beter in balans.

Verbeterd scannen
Scan documenten en tik op het vergrootglas om in te zoomen en ze meteen te bewerken. Je kunt ook meer doen na het scannen van QR-codes, zoals mensen bellen of e-mailen in plaats van alleen hun contactgegevens aan je telefoon toe te voegen.


Galerij

Of je nu duizenden foto's en video's hebt of slechts een paar dierbare momenten: met Galerij kun je makkelijker vinden wat je nodig hebt en je collectie georganiseerd houden.

Verrijkte verhalen
Zie je verhalen tot leven komen via video's met hoogtepunten die automatisch worden gemaakt. Tik gewoon op het voorbeeld bovenaan elk verhaal om ze te bekijken. Je kunt ook bekijken waar de foto's in je verhalen zijn genomen in de nieuwe Kaart-weergave.

Eenvoudigere albums
Sorteer je albums gemakkelijker, zelfs als er heel veel foto's in staan. Je kunt albums zelfs sorteren op het aantal foto's en video's dat erin staan, zodat je favoriete en meest gebruikte albums altijd bovenaan de lijst staan. Wanneer je een album bekijkt, zie je bovenaan het scherm ook een omslagafbeelding om je een beter idee te geven van wat er in het album staat.

Zorgeloos bewerken
Zet bewerkte foto’s op elk gewenst moment terug naar de oorspronkelijke versie, zelfs nadat ze zijn opgeslagen. Zo kun je het orgineel nooit kwijtraken.

Meer controle over informatie
Wijzig of wis de datum, tijd en locatie van uw foto's om deze te corrigeren of privé te houden. U kunt ook meerdere foto's selecteren en hun informatie in één keer bewerken.


Foto- en video-editor

Soms moeten je foto's en video's net een beetje worden aangepast. Met de foto- en video-editors van UI zien je foto's er op hun best uit voordat je ze deelt.

Emoji's en stickers
Gebruik een emoji om het gezicht van een verlegen vriend(in) te bedekken of voeg stickers toe om leuke foto's en video's te maken.

Videocollages
Maak bewegende collages met foto's, video's of een combinatie van beide. Kies de perfecte momenten uit en creëer je eigen meesterwerk.

Belichtingsregeling
Foto te donker door slechte belichting? Met de nieuwe functie Lichtbalans kun je alle details naar voren halen om het er geweldig uit te laten zien.

Rollen met hoogtepunten
Maak van een reeks foto's en video's moeiteloos een prachtige film. Kies gewoon een thema en de AI voegt de muziek en overgangen automatisch toe.

Raak het origineel nooit kwijt
Neem risico's met je bewerking! Je kunt nu zowel foto's als video's terugzetten naar hun originele versies nadat ze zijn opgeslagen. Je kunt ze ook opslaan als kopieën om zowel de originele als de bewerkte versies te bewaren.

Van de ene foto naar de andere plakken
Experimenteer met het mixen en matchen van gezichten, huisdieren, gebouwen, en meer. Je kunt elk object uit de ene foto knippen en in een andere foto plakken.


AR Emoji

Gebruik je eigen persoonlijke emoji's om je berichten op te fleuren, leuke video's te maken en nog veel meer. Je kunt een digitale versie van jezelf maken of een andere look proberen. De mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos.

Breng je profiel tot leven
Gebruik een AR Emoji als je profielfoto in Contacten en Samsung account. Je kunt kiezen uit meer dan 10 poses of je eigen uitdrukkingen maken.

Gezichtsstickers
Doe alsof je je emoji bent met nieuwe stickers van het gezicht van je emoji. Leef je uit met het versieren van je foto's en deel ze met je vrienden.

Dans tot je erbij neervalt
Maak coole dansvideo's met je AR Emoji's. Kies sjablonen uit 10 verschillende categorieën, waaronder #Leuk, #Lief, en #Feest.

Ontwerp je eigen kleren
Altijd al modeontwerper willen worden? Je kunt nu je eigen tekeningen gebruiken om unieke kleren voor je AR Emoji's te maken.


Delen

Met One UI kun je verbonden blijven en je ervaringen met anderen delen. Tik binnen elke app gewoon op de knop Delen.

Meer aanpassen
Deel op je eigen manier. Je kunt de lijst met apps die je ziet wanneer je inhoud deelt aanpassen om de rommel op te ruimen en je alleen te richten op de apps die je regelmatig gebruikt.

Eenvoudigere navigatie
Een nieuwe lay-out en betere navigatie maken delen een fluitje van een cent. Veeg naar links of rechts om door apps en contacten te bladeren wanneer je deelt.

Foto's delen
Als je een foto wilt delen die er niet helemaal goed uitziet, of hij nu onscherp is of niet goed gekaderd, laten we je dat weten en geven we je suggesties om hem te verbeteren.

Deel met anderen
Soms moet je anderen op de hoogte houden. Het is nu gemakkelijker om je agenda te delen met andere Galaxy-gebruikers.

Vereenvoudigde datum- en tijdselectie
Het instellen van details van gebeurtenissen is makkie met afzonderlijke datum- en tijdopties.

Herstel verwijderde gebeurtenissen
Gebeurtenissen die je verwijdert, blijven 30 dagen lang in de Prullenbak, zodat je ze terug kunt halen als je ze nodig hebt.


Samsung Internet

Met de snelle en veilige webbrowser van One UI is het nu nog gemakkelijker om de webpagina's te vinden die je zoekt, terwijl je privacy wordt beschermd.

Zoeksuggesties
Krijg meer zoeksuggesties wanneer je tekst in de adresbalk invoert. Je ziet de resultaten met een geheel nieuw ontwerp.

Zoeken vanaf het startscherm
Met de nieuwe zoekwidget kun je meteen vanaf het startscherm vinden wat je zoekt.

Start in de geheime stand
Om je privacy te beschermen, start Samsung Internet automatisch in de geheime stand als je tijdens je laatste browsingsessie de geheime stand hebt gebruikt.


Apparaatonderhoud

Bekijk de prestaties, beveiliging en batterijduur van je telefoon in één oogopslag, los problemen snel op en krijg een uitgebreide diagnose voor complexere problemen.

Batterij en beveiliging in één oogopslag
Je ziet batterij- en veiligheidsproblemen meteen op het hoofdscherm, zodat je problemen sneller kunt oplossen.

Begrijp de algemene status van je telefoon
Je ziet de algehele status van je telefoon als een emoji, zodat je het direct begrijpt.

Diagnostische controles
Nu kun je vanuit Apparaatonderhoud rechtstreeks naar de diagnoses van Samsung Members gaan. Als er wat mis lijkt te zijn met je telefoon, probeer dan de diagnostische tests om erachter te komen wat het probleem is en om suggesties te krijgen om het op te lossen.

Beheer al je gezondheidsgegevens op één plek en begin gewoonten op te bouwen voor een betere toekomst. Houd je training, slaap, voedselinname en meer bij. Met One UI 4 is het makkelijker dan ooit.

Volledig nieuw ontwerp
Met één tik heb je je belangrijke gegevens bij de hand. Alles wat je nodig hebt is dankzij de vier tabbladen onderaan het scherm binnen handbereik.

Mijn pagina
Bekijk een overzicht van je gezondheidsstatistieken, prestaties, persoonlijke records en voortgang op het tabblad Mijn pagina.

Daag je vrienden uit
Het is nu eenvoudiger dan ooit om een Together-uitdaging te beginnen. Nodig je vrienden uit door een link te sturen.

Inclusiever
Genderopties zijn inclusiever. Je kunt nu kiezen voor Anders of Zeg ik liever niet.

Meer opties voor eten
Het registreren van je voedselinname is eenvoudiger, omdat er meer snacks aan de voedseltracker zijn toegevoegd.


Bixby Routines

Laat je telefoon meer voor je doen. Zet Wi-Fi automatisch aan als je thuiskomt, of zet je telefoon op stil als je op je werk bent. Met One UI 4 heb je nog meer mogelijkheden.

Meer voorwaarden
Er zijn meer voorwaarden beschikbaar voor je routines. Start een routine tijdens een gesprek of wanneer er een bepaalde melding binnenkomt.

Meer acties
Je kunt nu Uitgebreide verwerking inschakelen met een routine. Er zijn ook meer opties zoals het verbinden en loskoppelen van Bluetooth-apparaten.

Meer controle
Wijzig de volgorde van acties door ze op de bewerkingspagina aan te raken en vast te houden. Er zijn ook geavanceerde opties toegevoegd waarmee je kunt wachten voordat een actie wordt gestart, acties kunt bevestigen en meer.

Meer combinaties
We hebben de beperkingen voor sommige combinaties van voorwaarden en acties opgeheven, zodat je nog meer met je routines kunt doen.

Meer aanpassen
Maak aangepaste pictogrammen voor je routines met behulp van de camera of een afbeelding uit de Galerij.


Toegankelijkheid

One UI is ontworpen voor iedereen. In One UI 4 krijg je nog meer opties waarmee je je telefoon kunt gebruiken op de manier die voor jou het meest comfortabel is.

Altijd beschikbaar als je het nodig hebt
Krijg sneller toegang tot toegankelijkheidsfuncties met een zwevende knop die altijd beschikbaar is.

Muisgebaren
Voer acties sneller uit door je muis naar een van de vier hoeken van het scherm te verplaatsen.

Pas je scherm in één keer aan
Pas het contrast en de grootte tegelijkertijd aan via de aangepaste Display-modus (hoog contrast of groot scherm).

Comfort voor je ogen
Er zijn meer zichtbaarheidsopties beschikbaar om af te stemmen op je behoeften. Je kunt de transparantie of vervaging verminderen.

Extra gedimd scherm
Als je scherm te helder is, zelfs bij de laagste helderheidsinstelling, schakel je Extra dimmen in zodat je comfortabeler kunt lezen in het donker.

Aanpasbare flitsmeldingen
Zie een schermflits wanneer je een melding ontvangt. Je kunt de kleuren voor elke app aanpassen, zodat je meteen kunt herkennen waar een melding vandaan komt.

Eenvoudigere vergroting
Het Vergrootglas-venster is samengevoegd met het nieuwe menu Vergroting, waardoor je meer opties en meer controle hebt over het vergroten van inhoud op het scherm.


Meer functies en verbeteringen

Beter Always On Display
Mis nooit meer een melding. Je kunt Always On Display nu zo instellen dat het wordt ingeschakeld wanneer je een melding ontvangt. Er zijn ook nieuwe geanimeerde stickers beschikbaar waardoor je Always On Display er fris uitziet.

Verbeterde donkere stand
Voor meer comfort in het donker dimt de donkere stand nu automatisch achtergronden en pictogrammen. Illustraties in Samsung apps hebben nu versies met donkerdere kleuren voor de donkere stand. Dit geeft je een consistentere ervaring die prettiger is voor je ogen.

Oplaadinformatie in één oogopslag
Wanneer je begint met opladen, zie je via verschillende visuele effecten op een intuïtievere manier wat je oplaadsnelheid is.

Eenvoudigere helderheidsregeling
Dankzij een grotere helderheidsbalk in het Quick panel is het makkelijker om met een veegbeweging de helderheid van je scherm te veranderen.

Veiligheids- en noodmenu
Met het nieuwe menu Veiligheid en noodgevallen in de instellingen regel je je contactpersonen voor noodgevallen en veiligheidsinformatie allemaal op één plek.

Verbeterd zoeken in instellingen
Dankzij verbeterde zoekfuncties kun je de instellingen vinden die je nodig hebt, wanneer je ze nodig hebt. Afhankelijk van waar je naar zoekt, krijg je ook suggesties voor gerelateerde functies.

Houd je ogen op de weg
De nieuwe rijmonitor in Digitaal welzijn houdt bij wanneer je je telefoon gebruikt tijdens het rijden. Je krijgt rapporten over hoeveel je je telefoon hebt gebruikt en welke apps je hebt gebruikt.

Sla één keer uw alarm over
Zin om uit te slapen? U kunt nu een alarm uitschakelen voor slechts één gebeurtenis. Het gaat automatisch weer aan nadat het is overgeslagen.

Dag of nacht in één oogopslag
Heb je een vriend(in) aan de andere kant van de wereld? Het is gemakkelijker om te zien of het nu een goed moment is om contact met hen op te nemen. De dubbele klok-widget toont nu verschillende achtergrondkleuren voor elke stad, afhankelijk van of het daar dag of nacht is.

Overschakelen van appen naar bellen
Is appen niet voldoende? Tik op de naam van de persoon bovenaan het gesprek om hun gegevens te zien of een spraak- of video-oproep te beginnen.

Meer zoekresultaten in Berichten
Je kunt nu in je berichten zoeken naar foto's, video's, weblinks en meer. De resultaten zijn allemaal gefilterd, zodat je meteen kunt gaan naar wat je zoekt.

Eenvoudiger zoeken in Mijn bestanden
Vind het bestand dat je zoekt, zelfs als er een typefout in staat of als de naam niet precies overeenkomt. Het gedeelte Recente bestanden is ook uitgebreid, zodat je bestanden die je onlangs hebt gebruikt of ontvangen snel kunt vinden.

Aanpasbaar beeld-in-beeld
Als een zwevende video in de weg zit, knijp je je vingers samen om hem kleiner te maken. Wil je meer zien? Spreid je vingers uit elkaar om het groter te maken.

Snelle toegang tot opties voor pop-upvensters
Voor eenvoudiger multitasken kun je het menu met vensteropties vastmaken aan de bovenkant van het venster, zodat je makkelijker toegang hebt.
