Recently, Microsoft launched the all-new Windows 11 operating system (OS), which includes significant upgrades[1] to better support split screen multi-tasking, a new UI, expanded availability of Android apps for PC, and more. These updates complement the Galaxy Book Series with its emphasis on mobile-forward computing experiences.

Much like the mobile-forward experiences set to come to users with the introduction of Windows 11, the Samsung Galaxy Book Series is designed to meet evolving lifestyle trends and needs to enhance the lives of today’s consumers. These devices help boost mobility and work effortlessly with your other Galaxy devices at home and at work.
With Link to Windows[2], you can connect your Galaxy smartphone to your Galaxy Book Series device to help boost productivity. By taking advantage of the greater screen real estate, you can use your favorite mobile apps conveniently in a PC environment. With the update you can check your Galaxy phone connectivity status, manage sound controls, and even enable ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode on your Galaxy Book Series device, all with the help of the same familiar User Interface you see on your Galaxy smartphones and tablets for more seamless control. Link to Windows also comes with Dark Mode for comfortable viewing experiences no matter the time of day.
Along with the launch of Windows 11, Live Wallpaper on the Galaxy Book Series[3] has also received an upgrade. Live Wallpaper now supports the same UI as seen on your Galaxy smartphones and tablets and the same Dynamic Wallpaper images found on your Galaxy Dynamic Lockscreen. Users can enjoy a range of high-quality background images from 10 different Dynamic Wallpaper categories exclusive to this feature. With the Live Wallpaper update, you can also enjoy the same background across your Galaxy mobiles, tablets and PCs.
Further, for even more mobility with your Galaxy device, Samsung has introduced Bixby on Windows for Galaxy Book users[4] to provide an intuitive way for you to interact with your PC. Through simple voice commands, you can search for files, open apps and Settings and even control compatible devices within your SmartThings-registered device ecosystem. Simply say “Hi Bixby” or press CTRL, Shift and B or FN and B simultaneously to activate the Bixby on Windows feature. Existing Galaxy Book Series laptops[5] are compatible with Windows 11, and users are eligible for a free upgrade to the new Windows 11 operating system. [2] Users must link their Galaxy device to their Windows PC through ‘Link to Windows’ on phone and Your Phone app on PC, follow the set-up prompts, including being signed into same Microsoft account. Link to Windows is preloaded on select Galaxy devices. Your Phone requires Windows 10 update on the PC. Your Phone requires Galaxy device to be on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the PC. Some mobile apps may restrict content to be shared on other screens or may require a touch screen to be able to interact with them.
